Hello, I am creating a new page and wanted to make it look like the homepage of Peak from the library.
I figured I needed sections in order to make the 3 columns.
I do not see the use sections area on the page. It says in the upper right corner.
I am only using GP no builder.I wondered if the information was different now with Guttenberg.
Thank you

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Sections module doesn’t actually help with creating columns.
If you are using Gutenberg, I would recommend trying the built-in Columns block.
Let me know π

Thank you.
Is that how the front page on Peak was created?
When I’ve used the built-in columns block I was able to get it to look neat like it is in peak.Jan

StaffCustomer SupportYup Peak is just using Gutenberg blocks. No sections at all.

How are the 3 sections in the middle block identical and neat?
June 21, 2019 at 12:15 pm #937356Leo
StaffCustomer SupportBecause all three columns have identical amount of content?
Maybe I’m confused about your question?

I am not able to get mine the exact same content. I made the logos the same size in the side bar for size, but am having issues to having the columns the same going down.
Is there CSS to do this.
THanks

StaffCustomer SupportHmm are you trying to line up the separators?
If so try creating another row of columns and add the separator in there.

I did that now and there is extra space.
I am really having a hard time working in Guttenberg for me it isn’t very user-friendly with the columns. I’m supposed to hover to get the area to make columns to 3 and it takes forever to get the mouse in the right area. Then adding another row is spaced down and I can’t get the space to disappear then it all deletes.Ahh just very frustrated with this.
I love GP.Is there a way to go into the code like we use to without guttenburg and see what’s going on.
This is for the birds, my mouse doesn’t seem to line up to get the areas I need taken care of.Thanks

StaffCustomer SupportI agree that Gutenberg is a bit tough to start with but it’s actually pretty good for simple things like this once you are used to the user interface.
Looks like the separator is lined up nicely?

It took me way too long to get the one added in and there is too much space in between. the bottom of the images to the line. Is there a way to make this smaller?
ThanksJune 21, 2019 at 4:07 pm #937490Janet Davis
one more thing. Sorry – is there a way to duplicate the two rows and 3 columns so I can do it again without having to start from scratch.
