hi; i had my hero front page image where it needed to be, how it needed to be. then started mucking around with sidebar spacing which i now have figured out thx to the support team, but my hero image went to zero satisfaction in the process. seems as though the sidebars i set up have moved over the hero image and darned if i can get it to across the page again, with the content and sidebars starting up underneath it.

Hi Douglas,

I can see the lady is there on top as a page hero.

Why not just remove the lady in the page content? (pointed by red arrow)

If you want to have the exact same page hero as the one in content area, you just need to select the container, click the 3 dot button, then copy, paste it in the block element.

hi Y
i like the lower picture lady better. I put that other pic up just to try a couple of things w the block / container whichamadingie.
Y, i want that lower lady picture to go all the way across the page if i can. How to do that, bud?

Hi Douglas,

Do you mean something like this?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/4guK7dvE

If so, you can simply do as instructed by Ying, through copying and pasting which would also include the Blocks inside the Container.

Or, you may go to the Block Element where you’re adding this section: https://share.getcloudapp.com/DOu4Gz79

and then edit its background as such: https://share.getcloudapp.com/OAu6xYX8

This is the image you’re currently using in this section: https://bebestu.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/bebestu-pin-cover-4-300x200.png

Whereas the image you want to use is this: https://bebestu.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/mountain-top-lady-1.png

Hope this clarifies. Feel free to reach out if you’ll need further assistance. :)

hey i like the looks of that alright. only one thing. i want the signup form on the lady's picture.

If you go to the block element, select the container block, you should be able to see a + icon inside the container.

Click on the + , choose shortcode block, enter the shortcode generated by the form plugin.

A shortcode is something look like this[your shortcode].

i dont know how to do that , Y. I am confused between this container stuff and the old way i did things.

Can you try follow my instruction and let me know which step you are confused about?

i don't know how to get to the places i have to access in order to make these changes.
i was alot better off without this container stuff. i only know how to customize a page etc, not any of the generateblocks stuff
frick what a hassle to change one bloody picture !

i got here , Y (below) now i will wait for you to give me some specific instructions to get this done, ok.
like, one thing at a time.

Can you provide WordPress login as well so I can see the backend?

hey Y, i actually ahve to get rid of that signup form anyway. it is mailchimp and i don't use that autoresponder.
i will delelte it, and then put another one in there from getrsponse.
i have tried to delete that big lady pic and while i seem to be able to delete it in the element, it still remains on the front page? why is that/

hey Y: well i am sort of back at square one. got rid of one of those pics, but re-entered the lady and it is as before.

so . now what? can u help me here plz? take a look.

As when I check, the lady in element is gone, the lady now is in the content which is added to the page itself.

What are you trying to do now?
