Trouble on Home Page

Hi,
I am having an issue on my homepage.
I am using a Header element to create a hero on that page. On the site header tab, I have selected Merge with Content, checked the Navigation Colors box, and selected the desired colors (transparent background, white text).
These settings work exactly as expected on my staging site, but not on the live site. The live site shows a green background (same as the other pages of the site).
I've triple checked that caching isn't the issue, and turned off all my plugins, but can't seem to figure out what's causing it.

That green BG color seems to be coming from a customizer setting. It's the background color of the menu on Appearance > Customize > Colors > Primary Navigation.
can you check there and verify? Let us know.
Yes, that's correct, and it's the desired color for the rest of the site. But the header element settings aren't overriding it on the home page.

can you re-edit the Header Element and change the Navigation Background color to a solid color - check to see if the change works. If so re-edit and apply the transparent background.
Ahhhh, thank you, that did the trick.
I had tried turning the Navigation Colors off and on and re-saving, but hadn't thought to change the actual colors.
Interestingly, when I changed the colors one at a time (background, background hover, background current) and saved in between each, the others would default to their original weirdness (green background). When I did all three at once, it seemed to stick. Not gonna touch it!!
