Tried to move hosting domain and lost the "branded" template

Tom/David,
I just finished my website dhawthorne.com/dhawthorne I used the 'branded' site template as a starting template, I spent about three weeks changing out all the text and images everything was working great it was finished so I wanted to replace my previous website dhawthorne.com with the new one. However, since dhawthorne.com is my primary hosting domain, I couldn't get the primary host to link to the folder (like I did with my wives website jenuinecakes.com) for some unknown reason godaddy requires the primary to link to the root directory.
So I called up GoDaddy support they walked me through changing my primary hosting address to a temp.dhawthorne.com primary, and creating dhawthorne.com as a secondary host linked to my /dhawthorne folder (similar to Jenuinecakes). However, when I did this I lost all of the middle portion (the beautiful part) of the of the website. All the pictures and text don't appear, its like in the transition I dumped all the 'branded' template information somehow. I tried switching it back to see if it would re-associate with the template but no luck. All the images are still in my Media library and when I edit the site in Beaver Builder all the text is there its just like it lost the formatting. Am I missing something is there an easy way to get it working again? Thanks in advance for your help. Great website!
Thanks,
Dane
Hi Dane,
It's possible that the images are still pointing to the old location.
Maybe try a plugin like this to replace the old URL with the new URL: https://wordpress.org/plugins/velvet-blues-update-urls/
Let me know :)
