Hi,
I am trying to set up a transparent header and merge it with the page header background but I don´t know how Elements works. Can you tell me how to do it?
Thanks in advance,
Ane
Hi there,
have you been through this article and watched the video?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/
Theres also an example here that provides the settings:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-hero-examples/#example-2
You only need to set the Options given in that example.
Let me know
Hi,
Yes, I have already set up the options of those both articles, but after saving the element, it doesn´t appear in the home page. What can be happening?
Thanks,
Ok so two things to check.
1. The Header Element contains some content - if you don't want any content say just a background image then add a HTML comment e.g <!-- I am a HTML Comment write what you like i wont be seen -->
2. Check the Display Rules you have applied. For the Home page you should select the Front Page location.
Hi, I have already donde that just now, but no change...
I have a section with a degradated backgound. is that a problem?
Could you send me screenshots of the header element settings - including the site header tab and display rules.
You can use any sharing site to add links to the images here.
On the Display Rules Tab Location - select Front Page from the list - its near the very top.
The page you have set as your home page has a special requirement and can't be selected as a normal page.
thank you very much!!!
Glad to be of help
