Total Blocking Time increased after uninstalling Elementor

First of all, thank you for the great theme and GenerateBlocks. I can't stress how amazing and useful it's been to me in helping solve a bunch of performance issues.

Now to my question. For obvious reasons I wanted to get rid of Elementor and replace it with GenerateBlocks. The biggest issue I was facing was Total Blocking Time with Elementor since I was using short codes for email sign up forms, product boxes, and the author box. So I decided to replace everything with GenerateBlocks. Once I did, the Total Blocking Time went down to 0 on all pages (with Elementor still installed). As soon as I uninstalled Elementor the Total Blocking Time jumped up again (better than before). So I'm wondering if there's something I did wrong, maybe I did not properly uninstall Elementor. Or maybe there's something I'm doing wrong with GenerateBlocks.

By the way, I don't know too much about all the technical stuff, so bare with me.

I've also included a link to one of the pages where this is happening.

Thanks.

Hi there,

i tested the page on Page Speed Insights and on mobile its reporting a 10ms blocking time - which is great.
If it were higher then that when you tested the page - it may just have been a cached file left over somewhere.

let me phrase this a bit better,

In this next URL page I've attached, sometimes I get a great blocking time and other times I get times that range from 450ms to 900ms. And the main issue is "Minimize main-thread work". What could I do about this? This was a similar issue I was facing with Elementor.

I ran 10 back to back tests on PSI and a lighthouse report and every one of them had 0 blocking time, and none reported Minimize main-thread work.

May be a server page cache that hadn't yet cleared.

Could be, either way I think I may be trying too much.

The numbers are great. Thanks for your help.

I think a lot of people would be jealous of those numbers - time to open a beer to celebrate !

Glad to be of help!

Haha for real, I realized this half way into this topic.

Its very impressive :)
