    Hi folks,

I have a top nav that’s merged with a page header on the homepage. I’ve also set it to sticky NAV. When I scroll, there’s a HUGE shift in the NAV layout (well, maybe not HUGE, but enough that my client complained!).

Is there any way to have the transition to sticky NOT change any of the padding and positioning?

    Here’s the homepage:

    Thanks!

    Jon

    Hi there,

In order to do that, you would need to use your navigation as your header: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-as-a-header/

Let me know if you need more info 🙂

    Thanks Tom!

This works for the interior pages, but the homepage has a “merged” header and transparent NAV, which is still shifting when is goes to sticky..

    Thanks,

    Jon

    Hi there,

i am not seeing the issue on the front page. Try clearing your browser caches or checking the page in an incognito / private browser.
