tool for create popups on the photos in slide?

I would like to know your opinion about a tool that allows me to create attention calls about the photos in the slide of the main page.
It would be that each of the slide photographs could have a different popup. As a model I accompany the following website:

I have tried with some plugin but I do not get what I want. So far, the result is that the popup appears eliminating the content below until it is closed and, as you will see in the example, is not what I'm looking for.
