I installed a Vanilla website which was working fine. And with just GP Premium and get this error while editing any posts, pages. Same for new and old ones. And if I deactivate the GP Theme and plugin I still have the errors.
Here is what I get when I click on copy error.

Same for new and old ones. And if I deactivate the GP Theme and plugin I still have the errors.
Since this occurs even w/o GP theme and GP premium then we could cross it out as the culprit.
Can you recheck the plugin list and make sure to test with ALL plugins deactivated and test again?
This is error is usually from a plugin conflict.
Let us know how it goes.
Note: make sure WordPress is up to date as well.
April 1, 2021 at 8:20 pm #1718545YannI mean once deactivated, the errors that the plugin and theme generate STAY after deactivating. Before activating them for the first time everything is good. I reinstall 3 times and followed all the normal procedures. Checking cache, routing, permission, etc.
April 2, 2021 at 3:18 am #1718819DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Not sure, but it looks as though your core WP install has loaded older JS scripts that are not supported in the newer version of jQuery that WP now installs. Generally most WP installs have jQuery Migrate enabled to fix those issues.
If jQuery Migrate isn’t installed then can you try installing this plugin:

April 2, 2021 at 1:44 pm #1719506YannThank you David, you put me on the right track. I finally figure out that it was optimization of the server OUTSIDE of WordPress that messed up with GeneratePress Theme and plugin. And I prefer using the template over the optimizations.

August 24, 2022 at 10:00 am #2322656KarinaHello
I upgraded my hosting to a PHP version to 7.4.
After the upgrade I have been getting the following error when I try to add some pictures in a draft (not all)“This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”.
I tried with the plugin Enable jQuery Migrate Helper but the problem remains.
My hosting company wrote the following msg:
The issue might be that the theme or some of the plugins are not compatible with PHP 7.4.Can you help me?
