there is nothing showing up in posts edit window

When I click on "all posts" and select a post to edit the window that comes up is blank. This is the case for all 125+ posts. I updated to WP 5.0 a few days ago and there were no problems until this afternoon.

Earlier today I tried out a few social media sharing plug-ins. Each of them were compatible with 5.0 but each of them seemed to slow the site in some way, so I deactivated and deleted them. I also deleted jetpack in this process. Should I have not deleted jetpack?

I also noticed what I believe is a new plug-in, categorized as "Must-Use" that I don't remember seeing before - "Endurance Page Cache" I'm wondering if this is what's causing my problems.

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide here. I love using GP because it's easy to use for those of us with no programming experience, but I'm in way over my head here.
