Theme upgrade 'forgets' which elements are disabled on Pages

Hi, I've noticed that every time I upgrade GeneratePress, my disabled Content Titles reappear on all my Pages. When I go back in, the box in Disable Elements is un-checked, and I have to check + save the page again - for every page on my site.
This has happened the last few upgrades. Can you look into it? I've noticed it both on localhost (I'm running Local by Flywheel) and on both staging and production sites on WPEngine.

Hi Michelle,
That sounds strange - we haven't had any other reports on this though so it might be something specific in your install.
Are you using any custom functions or child theme?
Does the issue occur again if you do a manual reinstall of the theme? All of those settings should be saved during a manual re-install which is similar to an update.
