Hi I have just installed Amalinkspro plugin.. and after installing "1" is showing on the footer on every page...
I asked the plugin support and they told me to contact you.. because they are 100+ websites running without any issues..and there's nothing they can change on the plugin for this issue..
I inspect that element and showing '1' after
tags
See the screenshots below you will get to know..

I don't know somehow "1" is automatically been shown
I know tom you can easily fix this it's a piece of cake for you..
If you want I can send you the admin info so that you can have a look and check..
Hi there,
odd - not something that the Theme would have any control over.
I notice in your site you have a full-container div wrapper around the content of the page, which isn't standard can you remove whatever code you're using for that so we can test if that is interfering.
do you want the admin info so that you can check on your end...
Please let me know how I can send you the username and password
Before we look in the backend - can you remove whatever function is creating the wrapper as mentioned above. If thats not the issue, then the next step is to:
1. Disable plugins to see if there is a conflict.
2. Disable any functions in your child theme or hooks.
No i am not able to figure out how to remove that..
I just check the funtion.php on my child theme and nothing is showing up..
and also i am not using any hooks
my theme is all clean..
Please solve this issue...
I talked to the plugin author and he told me that most of the users have generatepress theme installed and they are running this plugin without any issue..
He mentioned that when he inspect the element - there's something slideout overlay which may be causing this
Please take my admin info and solve it and let me know..
It's been 3 days now I am facing this problem.. i am continuously talking back and forth with Matthew and you.
Sorry to hear that you're frustrated but this is the first time you have raised this issue with us.
You can of course send us an admin login via the Contact Form > Account issues with the URL to this topic and we can take a look.

Please note i can only advise on what the problem may be, as making changes to your site is out of our remit in case we cause an unwanted issue.
Thanks, David! Just sent it, you can check it now on your email with the name Soumyadip
Lets try removing the full-container.
Go to Appearance > Elements --> Legacy Hooks ( button at top of screen ) and you will see there is HTML in two Hooks. Check the Disable Hook field below both of them.
There's no button at top of screen option in legacy hooks
I cannot find any option on the dropdown see this image i.is.cc/2tOjhVqb.png
Why don't you login to my website and sort it (i have sent you the admin info)
David is asking you to check this button to Disable Hook:

We are not allowed to make changes to your site.
Thanks for your understanding :)
I already disabled those two hooks but no changes
I'm still seeing the full container HTML in the source code.
Why is that code needed in the first place?
Actually i enabled it again that time.. now i have disabled the hooks, you can now check at your end
What happens if you disable the slideout navigation temporarily?
you can check i have even disabled the slideout navigation, but no changes
