Hi,
I've run a campain in google ads and it has been blocked because google detected souspucious files.
I've scanned my site with wordpress plugin "wordfence" that found nothing dangerous.
Then I've contacted google support and it respond to me including the list of the souspicious files including some in the generatepress folder.
They contacted me via phone and suggest, moreover, me to change theme.
Is this problem known? And why some generatepress's file are detected as dangerous?
Thank you,
Domenico
Hi there,
Hmm there definitely shouldn't be any suspicious files in GP.
Do you know which files they are referring to?
We haven't had this reported from other users either.
Let me know :)
Thank you for your reply.
Here are only three examples (in total are 9 files)
wp-content/themes/generatepress/css/mobile.min.css?ver=2.1.4
wp-content/themes/generatepress/js/back-to-top.min.js?ver=2.1.4
wp-content/themes/generatepress/fonts/generatepress.eot
It's possible that your website is infected with malware. If that's the case, the code can affect any file on your server.
You can re-install the theme to make sure you're using the core code.
That being said, you might want to get your site professionally scanned for malware to prevent those files or other files from being infected again.
