The new Elements problem

Hi,I just updated to the new version 1.7.2 of GP Pro including the new Elements feature.
On this page in your documentation:

there's a tab described in the Elements editor called 'disable elements'.
That tab in the Elements options panel for Layout elements is missing in my install of this new Elements feature.
Also - I might add; it's a little bit confusing to have a tab named "Disable Elements" inside a new feature called Elements, where one use of the wording means something different from the other... but maybe that's just me...
I am not dissatisfied - I am just wondering why the tab called "Disable Elements" is missing in my newly updated version.

Ah - I think I found out my mistake:
You actually need to activate "Disable Elements" in the overview to get it to display...

glad you found the solution.
I'll pass your comments on to Tom as yes I can see that may be confusing.
I can see that as well. The "Elements" name for the new module was just too good to pass up on.
We may consider renaming Disable Elements if something better comes along :)

Thanks for your replies.
It's hard I know. Using the concept of Elements on different levels leads to confusion.
Elements inside an Element? Not good…
Maybe go back to using 'sections'? I don't know.
Do you know the "Atomic" approach to web design? Elementar particles, atoms, molecules etc.?
Maybe that could give you some inspirations for naming this.
Only thing is that would probably mean you would have to re-name all 'elements' (sorry) in your GP Premium add-on.

Sections are different than Elements in this context. Technically Elements allows you to create HTML elements, whereas Disable Elements allows you to disable those (and others).
We'll give it some thought :)
