The legend of the images disappear into the WordPress Image Gallery.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
(1) Enter a page (say the main one)
(2) Add object -> Image Gallery
(3) Add an image that has html code into the “legend” field like:

<h3 style=”text-align: center; font-size:16px;”>
Google
</h3>
<p style=”text-align: center;”>The Google Search Page</p>

(4) Apply the Image Gallery changes
(5) Publish the Page changes
(6) Visit the page

VERIFY
– The image is shown without its legend.
– Come back to the WordPress dashboard and verify (into the Media) that the legend of the image choosed for the gallery has disappeared.

Can you activate a twenty series WP theme to test if the same issue occurs there?

The image gallery is handled by WordPress itself so I don’t believe the theme interferes with it.
