Vicky
Hi there
We are currently building a new website that it would contain multiple events with multiple venues with Generate Press template, Elementor builder and The Events Calendar Pro.
We are using the Event Calendar Pro for the event management system.
We have a freelancer currently working to enhance/customise the template (utilising child theme) and we noticed there are interesting bugs appearing.
– All venues are linkable to their respective listings but with this bug- all go to the one specific venue listing.
– All event listings show “The event has passed.” yet the event date/time is correct and it is not in past.We tested to switch over to the WordPress default template and these bugs went away. We used Generate Press’s Elements feature to show title in the header by using the “{{post_title}}” tag.
The developer advised me to seek the GeneratePress support so therefore the purpose of this post.
GeneratePress and Generate Premium are of latest version. Am happy to provide the login details to access the site as it is password locked and is only viewable for logged users.
Any suggestion or solution would be welcome.
Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Can you disable the Child Theme to see if the issue is related to the Theme or the custom development in the child theme.

Just checked with the freelancer and he confirmed that he did that method that parent theme is still showing these bugs. He checked with WordPress 2019 theme and these bugs disappeared.

Hi David
The developer got back to me that he sorted out these bugs. We updated the Event Calendar plugin to address one issue so it created these bugs. He updated child theme files to comply with the latest version and these bugs disappeared.
Thanks for your help!
