[Resolved] SVG Color

HI,

Using dev theme(images are purple), so want to change SVG image color to match my theme via css, as I am not a user of any graphics software so please help.

Hi there,

That SVG’s color is defined within the actual SVG file.

If you wish to match the SVG file’s color scheme to your current site, you’ll have to download the mentioned SVG edit it using a vector editing tool like Adobe illustrator so you can change the colors of the vector paths inside the file and then reupload + reapply.

But since you’ve mentioned you can’t use any graphic software, you may have to download the SVG and edit it’s <style> </style> CSS contents using code editor software.

I’m not exactly sure about the browser-based free ones. You can try Vectr but in my opinion, it’s quite difficult to use. Not exactly sure about the other ones.

From my personal experience as a Multimedia Artist, the best tool for this is either Adobe Illustrator (personal favorite, industry standard) or CorelDraw.

I also sometimes use SVGator as well if I wish to animate my SVGs.

No, I am a learner and just started development so can’t handle these all…

If you could help one step ahead and just change the color of just one SVG image so it would be a great help –

Editing of graphics is out of our scope of support, unfortunately.

But this should be quick work for someone who has the tools readily available. You can try hiring a graphic designer for this. 😀
