Sub Menu is not getting expanded

Hello - The sub menu is not getting expanded
For example, I have a Menu item called Authors ... when you click on Authors it should expand and provide a list of sub menus however this is not happening
Am I missing something?

Sure. I can try. Does this mean this issue is because of the optimization and cache?
If the menu works after disabling any optimization/cache plugins and clearing browser caches then yes, its an issue within those plugins settings. You will need to eliminate which setting is the cause.
Before doing that - simply clearing those plugin caches may fix the problem
