Sub Menu disappearing

Hi
I have a main menu created with a sub menu on some items. These headings have a null link. When I try to drop down to the submenu, the submenu disappears – any ideas why please?
I'm using GP Premium 1.6.2 with Elementor 2.0.3
Hi there,
Can you try this? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-wordpress-menu-builder/#custom-link
Hi and thanks for the reply. I have already done this (Creating a drop down menu with custom links), but the sub menu continues to disappear.
Any other suggestions please?
Doesn't look like you've added # in the URL field as suggested in the linked article?
Let me know.
I've added the # into the URL field, but this isn't changing anything.
Try removing the negative top margin from your Elementor section.
Then set the header padding values to 0 in Customize > Layout > Header.
Hi Tom
Thanks very much for this - it's worked!
Great support.
Glad I could help! :)
Hi,
I'm also using GP premium with elementor.
I'm having the same issue as Barry. It had gone away for some time, but now it's back.
When I'm on the main menu and try to click on the sub menus, they disappear. I have placed a # link and your advice to take out the negative margin in elementor fixes the problem.
However, if I take out the negative margin I'm left with a huge gap between the menu and the picture.
Do you have a suggestion on how to fix this?
Or by taking out the negative value and reducing the gap between the menu and the picture.
Or by preventing the sub menus from disappearing.

thanks for your help
Hi there,
If you disable the content title using GP options, that space will go away by default and you won't need to use negative margin: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/
great !
thank you very much. that did it!
You're welcome :)
