Stylesheet link and //

Hello,
Hopefully a quick one. Can someone explain why this generated code:
<link rel='stylesheet' id='generatepress-dynamic-css' href='//www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/generatepress/style.min.css?ver=1622716606' media='all' />
...starts the href with //
Thanks in advance.
Hi there,
it should include the https: before them ... which would mean something is not correct on your permalinks.
Do you have a link to the site ?
Yes, details included. Thanks David.
This was present before I applied WP Rocket and I was assuming it was automatically added correctly via GP so glad I've asked :)
Yeah theres no problem with that - its a relative path so its loads across the https anyway.
Thanks for looking David. So I assume GP generated it that way and it's fine.
I wasn't concerned initially as on opening up the resource I could see it was relative to the domain so was loaded across HTTPS but wanted to query to understand more about it :)
This is my first site build with GP+GB and it's been a learning curve but the results from a front-end, back-end builder and the performance audits has been superb (and backed up by an amazing support team!). If you need me for a case study, let me know :D
Yeah GP will generate a relative path if thats appropriate for the site - but i agree it does jump out as being a bit odd.
Glad to hear you're enjoying GP :)
No worries and thanks for the clarification.
Enjoy the rest of your day David.
You too!
