StudioPress/Genesis has a great plugin called "Genesis Simple Hooks"

It gives one a simple way to insert CODE into any of the 50+ action hooks throughout the Genesis Theme Framework.

Is there such a thing for Generatepress?

Astra has a similar thing (not a plugin) identifying the hooks in there theme....

It's missing a few newly added hooks for sure.

David also mentioned that he uses this plugin and it works very well:
