"Strange" display behavior of GP Premium website in Safari (Macbook Pro)

Hi Folks,

I'm pretty new at all this, so please forgive me if this sounds amateurish: I'm dabbling with a personal website (very much under development) using the GP Premium theme. All is working pretty well, and it displays to my satisfaction in Chrome, Android phone and iPhone. But with Safari (with a 2017 MacBook Pro) 3-4 pages of the site display completely differently than the others, showing a page content area with dark-brown solid background and white text, whereas I do have an almost white background in the content area of the pages. My header does have a solid brown color, similar to this weird display. Again, just a few pages do this and only in Safari, others display as intended. I have not yet updated to the latest GP versions, because I'm worried about losing my customizations... Could this be the problem?

Many thanks in advance,

Fritz.

Hi there,

Which pages are affected? I just went through your site using Safari on my Macbook and didn't notice any issues.

Let me know :)

Hi Tom,

thank you so much for your prompt reply and for trying things on your Safari/Mac combo.

The pages involved are "Ulrich", "Hiroshima", "Alicia", "Tonka" & "Sources". I just tried it all one more time and took some screenshots (which I could share from Dropbox; link to "Sources" below).

After watching more carefully, I see the proper page flash by first, and then the dark-brown page appears. Very bizarre... and maybe not at all related to the Theme after all. Still, I would appreciate any thoughts and suggestions.

Again, many thanks.

Thank you, Tom,

obviously, this is at my end and your suggestion of it being related to Safari extensions make much sense... I'll check this out.

Best,

F.

Sounds good - let us know :)
