Hi – the WooCommerce Sticky View Basket panel is firing ok when I add to basket from a single product page like this one: http://blackwatch.kinsta.cloud/shop/books-music/100000-welcomes-cd/ but not when I add to basket from a product archive page like this one: http://blackwatch.kinsta.cloud/product-category/books-music/
I have also noticed that when I add to basket from a product archive page an “item added to basket” notice with a checkout button appears at the top of the page but it is behind my header. I would like to replace this with the standard sticky bar from the single product page. I’m a little unclear if this is a GeneratePress or Elementor issue or both so have raised support tickets with both. Hope you can help.

    Hi there,

but not when I add to basket from a product archive page like this one: http://blackwatch.kinsta.cloud/product-category/books-music/

That’s because your archive pages are using AJAX to add the item to the cart. The green panel only appears if the page is refreshed after adding an item to your cart. I believe WooCommerce allows you to turn off AJAX in their settings.

I have also noticed that when I add to basket from a product archive page an “item added to basket” notice with a checkout button appears at the top of the page but it is behind my header.

This is happening because you’ve turned on the cart panel option, but you’re using Elementor to build your sticky header. The panel is only aware of the GP navigation/header, so it doesn’t know to force itself lower.

If you turn off the AJAX option in WooCommerce, you should get your desired result.

    Let me know 🙂
