    Hi there,

i tried with z-index (up to 999999) (knew that it only works with “position”) but no way to always have the site-header image sticky and on top of the page. Sticky works, on top not πŸ˜‰

    Hope you can help.

    Regards

    Oliver

    Hi there,

Can you show me a screenshot/link me to your site so I can see what you mean?

First i try it with words – ok πŸ˜‰

    I uploaded a header-image at “backgroundimages”

    Now set this to “fixed”.

The header-image is now on top, but the rest of the page will scroll over it.
I like the rest scroll below, so the header-image is always visible.

    Now better explained?

    Thx!

    Hi there,

I don’t suggest doing so, as the header is likely too tall to be fixed on mobile devices.

However, this topic may help: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/how-can-i-create-a-fixed-header-and-top-menu-in-the-generate-press-theme/#post-31579

Great, thanks a lot! Thats it. Isnt there at the search function of the support-forum a possibility to make a listing of all topics instead the full quoted text?

    Regards,

    Oliver

I’m afraid not, hopefully bbPress (the plugin) improves their search functionality in the next version πŸ™‚

Give them some code from you πŸ˜‰

Think in a listing its much more easier to get an overview πŸ˜‰
