Sticky menu not working. Back to top not working

Hi,

I finished my web site, published all pages. the site is behind a SeedProd under construction page that is active. What do I need to do to turn one or both of these on.

Going through appearance/customize/layout/sticky toggle on does not seem to work. Customize/layout/header/sticky is also on.

Customize/layout/footer/back to top button is toggled on but I think I deleted it because there were 2 blank buttons in the footer that I deleted.

Thanks,

Ivars

I forgot to add the web site.

orimeng.com

I can send a un and pw.

Ivars

the un and pw are below.

I have deactivates, wordfence security, svg support, I am not going to deactivate seedpro that is the under construction page (I do not want the generate press pages public if they do not work) and I am not going to deactivate really simple ssl.

Ihe problem still persists.

I see. However, we’ll need to assure that SeedProd isn’t causing the issue as well. Maybe you could try uploading a different Maintenance Plugin/Coming Soon plugin and try disabling SeedPro temporarily?

Here is an example of a plugin you may use as a temporary alternative to SeedProd: https://wordpress.org/plugins/lj-maintenance-mode/

Kindly let us know how it goes. :)

The site is live and the problem still persists.

I see. Thank you for testing. Have you published the Customizer settings version with Sticky nav and Back to top enabled?

I might be that you’ve only saved them as draft at the moment: https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQuNql8l

Kindly let us know how it goes. :)

I did not know about that requirement. Menus work now. I had a previous support question about why the customizations did not work. The person helping me said it was a cache problem (but it was not) and I ended up having the host delete my entire wordpress account and I started with a fresh install and recreated my site from scratch. And... all IO had to do was s a publish button. Good to know!!!

Sticky menus work.

Back to top still not here.

You’re welcome Ivars! Glad that it’s working now. This “saving” functionality is a core WordPress functionality, and by default, it’s action should be set to Publish. Accidentally setting it to save as draft can be sneaky. I also thought it was a plugin conflict or caching issue at first as these are more common causes for issues like this. Good thing you shared your credentials and I was able to investigate further. :)

With regards to the Back-to-top button, it’s displaying and working as expected from my end: https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruOzyPo

May you try clearing your browser’s cache or viewing it from a different browser?

Kindly let us know how it goes. :)

Actually back to top is working. Maybe it took a while to synchronize. Regardless, both items are working. Thank you.

You’re welcome Ivars! Glad everything is working as it should now! Feel free to reach out anytime if you’ll need assistance with anything else. :)
