Static page Home - no right sidebar

Dear Support,

I have a new wordpress 5.2.2 default installation without plugins or other.

I have created a child theme without further settings.

Your homepage displays a static page: Home

At the page home I have set the following setting content/sidebar and added widgets right sidebar recent posts.

The right sidebar is not visible, if I change the settings to sidebar/content then it is visible.

Why is not the right sidebar displayed?

Thank you for the message!

Unfortunately the timeline for the project is too short and a template has to work out of the box.

I chose another premium template from another vendor that works out of the box immediately.
