    Hello,

I feel that there should be an obvious solution to my question, but I can’t work it out.

I have chosen to have a static homepage. When the website launches, the layout of the home page is incorrect – see the link below.

When you click on the ‘About’ item on the menu (or any of the others apart from ‘home’), you can see the layout that I want the homepage to have also. I do not understand why it does not have this layout as it was created using the theme the same way as the others. When I go to edit the page, it looks the same as the others.

I’d be very grateful for some help.

    Thanks very much.

do you have a separate Header Element assigned to the Front Page?

    Hi David,

Thanks for asking me that question, it lead me to the solution! Yes I found out that I do have a separate Header Element assigned to the Front Page but it came as part of the template I used so I wasn’t aware of it before.

I am new to Generatepress and I see I have a lot to learn.

    Thanks again
    Suzanne
