I am not seeing the srcset attribute in my post images (WP 5.0.3). I have tried adding images via gallery block and image block and both yield the same results. When I load the post and inspect, all the images are being loaded in full resolution then scaled to size. I though this should work out of the box, am I missing something?
Also I have tried disabling all plugins, this did not result any different.
After hours of searching the internet with no luck, 5 mins after this post find out the php gd library is not installed, this looks to have resolved the issue.
