Specify character set

Hi Tom,
Still stuffing around with optimising site ...
One item is the site had no character set specified so after a little searching I found and inserted into .htaccess "AddDefaultCharset UTF-8" and now the site itself passes that test but I still get a notice saying no character set is established for "https://inayatiorderaustralia.org/wp-content/themes/generatepress/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff2"
How do I deal with this?

Hi Tom and apologies for the long delay in replying - life happened ...
I think it is best forgotten as it appears I am attempting to 'gild the lilly'. It is flagged as slowing down the website but when I look at the scores, I am getting 99 out of 100 so it is not going to make any appreciable difference as far as I can tell.
Why Google often says mobiles 'can't connect with server' is a whole different matter and not the domain of GP.
