Spacing on mobile on grid

I've used the grid block to create three columns with text and background color. I set the margins to 20px on top and bottom of each column. When I'm in mobile preview in the editor it shows perfectly. But when I save it and view it on my phone the three columns merge into one with zero margin. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
