Some pictures in media library are not displayed

Hi guys,
i did install search theme of generatepress.
Unfortunatly not all the pictures are displayed on the website or in media library even they are uploaded in the uploads folder.
If i upload a new picture i can see with ssh that it exists in upload folder but it will not be displayed on the website or in the media.
the rights of the upload folder is 755 so this should be correct as well.
I wonder why only some pictures of media are not displayed
Any idea how to solve this problem?

Hi Thomas,
The media library is 100% handled by WordPress core so I don't believe this is theme problem or anything we can fix from the theme's stand point.
Can you activate a 2021 theme and see if the issue exists there as well?
Yes you are right, the same problem exists with another theme, so it seems to be a problem with the wordpress core.
I just thought you maybe have an idea what could the problem be.
