    Hey there,

Some of my pictures suddenly do not load any longer within my blog posts (see link in private).

I tried to disable all plugins to troubleshoot the issue but none of them seem to be causing the problem. The only one I did not disable is the generatepress plugin because I did not want the site to break, but I dont think that would cause it anyway.

I have a caching plugin (WP Rocket), I disabled that one too, but does not seem to cause the issue.

I am not really sure when this happened, but I have recently updated both WordPress 5.8 as well as the new edition of the GP theme. Could those be causing it?

What would you recommend to fix it?

    Hi there,

Tough to tell – it’s very unlikely that this is a theme or WordPress issue. We haven’t recieved other reports on this.

Are you able to start a staging site so you can keep all plugins disabled and perhaps try a Twenty series WP theme?

    Let me know 🙂

Would i do that by creating a subdomain and putting everything there?

I’m wondering if that would cause duplicate content (and thus SEO) issues? Could you please help?

I disabled all plugins once again, but still does not work, so it has to be either the GP theme or the WordPress update. Can you think of anything else?

You could just start a staging site – just make sure the URL is not associated with your live site.

Your hosting support should be able to help with this.

so it has to be either the GP theme or the WordPress update.

We haven’t received any other reports on this so I’d think is neither.
