Smart slider footer widget

Hi I've just noticed what seems to be a new widget since I last used GP, its the smart slider footer widget. I need to know how to create a slider? Can't seem to find a way, there is an option to select a slider (sample one available) but cant find an add button anywhere. Does it need a plugin such as smart slider 3? from which it will pick up on any sliders created and you can choose them in the widget?

Hi there,

GP doesn't actually add any built-in widgets at all.

All the available widgets you are seeing are either from WordPress or third-party plugins.
