Slideshow won't show

Hi
I am trying to add a slideshow on the home page of the site and I want it before the page container, after the header. I have it in as a hook but it will not display for me. The hook is after_header_content. I have clicked execute shortcodes. Could you please tell me where I am going wrong?

can you check that you set the Display Rules?

I had it set to display on the pages and then the home page but it wouldn't work but now I changed it to from pages and selecting the page to "Front Page" and it seems to be working ok now, I don't know why it didn't work before hand.
The home page in WordPress has its own template tag ie. Front Page so it won't pick up All Pages.
