Slideout navigation menu

Hi there, is it possible to use the slideout navigation menu as a secondary menu from the left or the right to make it as a megamenu? For the megamenu I don't there's a problem I can use a plugin, but for the slideout menu I guess I'd have to play with some css to make the bar shorter.
What would I also have to do to make the rest of the website clickable and usable, because now it would just close the slideout navigation if I click anywhere on the screen, and I would like to make that slideout navigation stay there.

hmmm.... i think that would be very difficult to do with the slide out menu. You may be better looking at on of the mega menu plugins that supports side bar layouts.

Did you find an appropriate plugin?
Not exactly, haven't found one that I'm able to combine a header and the slide out menu though. Just marked the topic as resolved tho.
If someday I find the right plugin I'll let you know.
