Slideout Menu: double or nothing

When I use my main menu in the slideout menu, the menu items appear twice, like this:
Home
Item 1
Item 2
Itmem3
Contact
Home
Item 1
Item 2
Itmem3
Contact
So I created a new, separate menu for the slideout menu, like this:
Home
Item 1
Item 2
Itmem3
Contact
When I use this menu in the slideout, there is nothing at all, just a black area. The desktop version is ok, it's just the mobile version that does this.
Any ideas?

That's strange, you've set the "Theme Location" for the slideout menu in "Appearance > Menus"?

Yes I did. Actually, the black area is gone now, for some reason, but the double items remain:
I enabled it for the desktop also, for your convenience.
I'm seeing some classes in there that I didn't add.
I think you might have another plugin causing the issue.
