1) If start a new site with titel and articel (just like it is there) – it does not show me the Title!
I have to write twice the title… to show it on the web (why ?)On some old sites the title works without double writing Titels – on some Sites not.
2) I just want to display a Part (e.g. 3 Lines) of my newest post on the frontpage.
(i did try it with a plugin – but i do not like this plugin… https://elektroueli.ch/testseite-homeIs this possible without plugin — ist there a code for it?
thanksApril 29, 2019 at 5:01 pm #883769Tom

Thanks PiusApril 30, 2019 at 1:35 pm #884802Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperSo you’ve checked the “Disable Elements” section of the “Layout” metabox on the actual page and “Content Title” isn’t checked.
Is there a Layout Element added to the site?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/
If not, do you have any custom functions added to the site?

Hi
Yes I have Is Layout Element added to the site. It just not work with “Disable”. I just built a new website – there it works. So maybe an “old” mistake and I have to live with double Titles…
Have a nice day!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperYou shouldn’t have to live with double titles. Have you added an extra content title to your content and the built-in content title won’t disable?
May 6, 2019 at 11:20 am #890974pke
Yes I Have added an extra content title (H1) to my content
because
*… the built-in content title ist always disable?* (RIGHT! It does no matter if i Diable it or not..)
http://www.elektroueli.ch
it ist like this…

Elektroueli – für alle Installationen, Energiesparen

<!– .entry-header –>
Elektro, Solar, Smart Home, Multimedia, Service

Thank PiusMay 6, 2019 at 12:52 pm #891031Leo
StaffCustomer SupportI don’t see the double title issue on the page you linked, only the title you inserted:
