Hey Guys,

I changed hosting services and decided to go with Bigscoots on a shared plan with turbo speed. But after the switch, my mobile speed has reduced significantly and I discussed this with them and they're trying to push it off of their plate and say things about the theme. They're asking if I've done everything right with the theme installation.

Would you please review my site (https://glutenfreepizzapies.com/) and let me know if I've done something wrong with the theme or if you have any recommendations on increasing speed (particularly mobile speed)?

Thank you!

Hi Artin,

Can you try disable all your plugins except GP premium?

So we can test to see how the theme actually works.

done.

This is the score (91) you get on mobile when plugins are all turned off:

To improve the LCP problem, the first thing you can do is to remove the google font variants that you are not using at customizer > typography. This will reduce the requests upon page loading.

Then we can move on to other things.

It won't mess up with the current fonts I have?

variants removed... FYI, at this moment I have all plugins but GP deactivated...

As the theme we'll try our best to help with your site performance within in the theme.

But we can't help with the problems that created by other plugins, hope that makes sense to you.

Now your score improved to 92.

Let's move on to next point, images.

Make sure your images are optimized before uploading.

I understand.

I use shortpixel for image optimization. Are the images not properly optimized? This is important because this site will be image-heavy.

Your current featured image is 320px in width, can you go to customizer > layout > blog > featured image > archive, select medium for Media Attachment Size?

Your images can be smaller, maybe because the image optimization plugin is deactivated.
