I changed hosting companies and they're saying the theme is not installed properly. I have doubts about that. I don't think its the theme.

if you run a pagespeed insight report it will list some opportunities for improvement.
The ones i see are as follows:

Eliminate render-blocking resources
The main render blocking resource i the google font.
Loading them locally can improve that:

Reduce initial server response time
Apart from using a faster server, this generally can be improved by add Page Caching to your site, either on the server ( ask your host ) or via one of the many cache plugins.

Try addressing those first.
