I have set up my 404 page to my site but for some reason I can’t find out where to disable the site logo appearing above the 404 page. It shows up in full screen size so this is what people see when the 404 page loads. Help please.

    Hi there,

you can use the Layout Element:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/

Disable the Site Header and set the Display rules for the 404 template.

    Hi David,
thank you for your prompt reply.

I had already disabled the header but i can’t work out how to set up the display rule for the 404 page.

is there an idiots guide walkthrough?

I’ll keep trying in the meantime.

    So:

    1. Appearance > Elements –> New Layout
    2. Disable Elements tab –> Check Site Header
    3. Display Rules > Location –> Select 404 Template

    Save the element
