    Hey guys,

    very quick question.

I noticed in Gmetrix waterfall that the site logo and the navigation logo is loading one from HTTP and one from HTTPS.

Not a big issue but I am actually loading the normal image in the navigation, so it’s loading twice for no reason.

Just thought I would give you a heads up that it’s doing that. And if there is a quick fix then please let me know.

    Regards,
    Simon

    Hi there,

Try re-uploading the one you want to fix. It normally fixes the issue.

    Let me know ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Leo,

    Thanks for the replay.

Not sure what you mean by that?

I am using one image for both the site logo and the navigation logo. I could just use a smaller image for the navigation logo, however, it would be the exact same logo, just smaller. I figure that its already loaded in the header so it is less efficient to load the second image even if its smaller. It should just render the already loaded logo image in the navigation, right?

However, I tried to upload the same image again for the navigation (as that’s the one loading from http) but that still loads from http? And now I have the same image loading from two locations /2018/09/ and /2018/09

Hi there try rebuilding the permalinks in the wordpress settings or a plugin like this to update them:

Ah I am so sorry guys.

Turns out it’s my fault. For whatever reason, my sites URL in WordPress settings was HTTP instead of https.

Now that I have updated that, I just removed the image and readded it, problem solved. I dont that will cause any other issues I can think of…

Anyway, I do really appreciate the awesome support you guys provide, and sorry for taking up your time.

    Regards,
    Simon
