Site library vs old installation

Hi,
I have a question about the site library.
I installed the marketer theme from the site library on an old installation.
On this page i have read that it can make my site less stable.
What can i do to make it stable again without deleting everything?
Deleting posts and pages wouldn’t be a problem since they are filled with dummy text just for testing.
But i’d rather keep the plugins and the settings.
Or is reinstalling everything the only way?

Hi Johan,
Sorry where did you read that it will make your site less stable?
We usually recommend only importing on a clean install, but you can definitely install it to a existing site as well and just skip importing the content.
There might be a bit of modification needed if you import a template to an existing site but it's a bit hard to tell without seeing it.
