At some point I put my initials into the code somewhere to test something and now I can't figure out where. It's showing up on all sites I create and I can't figure it out. Can you please help me?!
Look at the bottom of this site: https://www.bciroc.ca/ See the BPD? Where is that and how do I get rid of it??
Hi there,
I would recommend checking to see if there are anything added within Hooks first:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-element-overview/
If not perhaps it's added as a function somewhere?
Elements is not activated on the site, so no hooks.
And I can't find it in either functions file (GeneratePress... which I know better than to edit, and my child file).
Got any other ideas? How can I see it but not be able to get at it??
Unfortunately, we can't really tell much from just looking at the page.
Here is what I would recommend:
- Are you using a child theme? If so can you try activating the parent theme?
- If it's still there with the parent theme, then can you disable all plugins including GP Premium?
YES!! It was a plugin! Not GeneratePress related at all, so thank you! thank you! for giving me ideas on how to track it down! This was driving me bananas! Thank you Leo!!
No problem :)
