Single Post Background

I've tried using css from other threads, but I can't get it to work. I want to have a background image for my site's background, but I don't know if I'm adding the background image to the wrong setting or what because it keeps showing up in the content area.
I want the container of the single post to have a white background, along with the sidebar.
I figured this out by editing my single post template with Elementor.

This can be done pretty easily using GP so let me know if you'd like to give it another shot :)
It's okay. I had wanted to tweak it anyway, and Elementor was a good way to do that.
