My media attachment pages suddenly have the right sidebar showing. I haven’t changed any settings, with ‘Sidebar Layout’ still set to ‘Content (no sidebars)’.

Can’t find a Sidebar metabox on the attachment page/s like there is for regular pages, to turn it off.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

Try creating a Layout Element: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/

You can set it to No Sidebar, then set your Display Rules to your single attachment pages.

    Let me know 🙂

that worked, I chose ‘Media > Media’ under display rules. Easy!

Also, I think a recent update changed my footer. Now I have a very minimalist footer at the bottom where before there were options (that I hadn’t yet edited) to add stuff.

What would be the best method to re-establish my footer design?

    Hi there,

the widget placeholders were removed in the most recent update. This doc will assist with setting the layout and adding widgets to the footer:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/footer-layout-overview/

And you can add any widget you need either via the Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets or via the Customizer > Widgets.
