Show summaries on front page

Hi,
I bought the plugin package and I'm super satisfied. I guess I'll use it for most future projects, it's so flexible and robust.
However, there is one important detail I just can't get to work: Show a list of summaries of the last 3 posts on the front page.
Any ideas?

I'm working on a plugin that will do exactly that. Hoping to have it out this month :)
