[Support request] Show Customize WordPress Excerpts of Post in Homapge / Blog Page

I’m fail in love with generatepress when know it form Brian Jackson, woorkup.com

I try to optimize my blog same with him.

But how i can control the text of articles appears outside the home page / blog page like https://woorkup.com/ ???

Have you got Content Type set to Excerpt in the Customizer > Layout > Blog > Archive set and set the Word Count?

It not about how many Word Count to show in the Excerpt. I see Brian can set custom Excerpt for each post. Not show how many words in the first paragraph.

You can use the Manual Excerpt. By checking the Excerpt field in the Screen Options, top left hand corner of the post editor. That will generate a Excerpt Meta field. And the post will display whatever is in there instead.
