how can one show a section on the home page in several columns, or show the home page completely in 2 – 4 columns?

easiest way to add columns is to use Tom’s Lightweight Gird Columns plugin:

Unfortunately you can not insert pictures with this plugin. Is it possible to create multiple columns (2-4) in Generatepress Sections? From the video “Generate Sections” is not clear how to split a section in columns.

Hi there,

when you add the lightweight grid columns and go to the Text editor you will see the shortcodes that it uses to create the columns. You can insert media inside them.

LGC can be used inside GP Sections to provide rows and columns.
