Hello

Having tried varied shortcodes which get generated while getting the widget to plugin area in widget - https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-shortcode/

The same reflects fine for Gutenberg block in posts/pages however the same doesnt render while entering the raw shortcode in elements module editor to show as hook or other options

The error which appears is - : Widget class not found. Make sure this widget exists and the class name is correct

Hi there,

Just to make sure, you are saying that the same shortcode from Widget Shortcode plugin works in Gutenberg but not in header/hooks elements?

Any chance you can link us to the site in question?

You can edit the original topic and use the private URL field.

Let me know :)

Thanks for the response

Yes - Right. This is the relative issue being faced as mentioned by you

To replicate, You may kindly try assign any plugin and generate shortcode through specific widget shortcode plugin.

Thereafter, Try to select through Gutenberg block and it will appear fine however, the same shortcode wont render when added through header/hook element

Hmm I was able to get the shortcode from Widget Shortcode plugin to work in header element no problem:

Was this the steps you are referring to? Which widget are you using?

Sorry as your reply got missed due to which couldn't add my response

Can you post the screencast with another software enabling me to see if the steps are similar as mentioned by me as the screencast link posted by you doesnt work right for me!

Sorry this is the only option I have.

Make sure you enable AdobeFlash player.

What widget are you trying to add? Just an HTML widget?
