shortcode not working

On elementor editor, I select "shortcode" and enter shortcode. It doesn't show up at all, not even as text, just disappears when I preview.
Hi there,
this is really a question for Elementor support.
Couple of things to test:
1. Does the shortcode work if you add it to a non-elementor post or page?
2. If the above works then try using a HTML Widget in Elementor to add the shortcode instead of the Shortcode widget. And see if that works.
